• Family safe after garage fire spreads to home (WAOW Wausau) March 10, 2010
  Everyone is safe after fire engulfed a garage and quickly spread to the home, Tuesday night. According to a news release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department, two family members were home when the fire broke out in the Township of Russell. They were able to escape, along with the family pets.

  A Prince George's County dog who saved his family's life last fall is looking for a new home.  The family he gave the dog-- whom they called Monster-- to another family because of financial constraints, and he was rescued from the second family after he was reportedly neglected. Now, he's awaiting a new place to live.

  A family in Glenville loses their enitre home. A two-story home in Argyle was destroyed after a morning fire there. Two people home at the time were able to escape safely, no word yet on a cause.
